How much does breast pump hire cost?
Hire is $27.95 a week or $100 a month. You also buy a personal-use kit for $50 (one per hire), pay $9.95 delivery and a $50 deposit that is returned when the pump comes back. Return shipping is included. A 4-week hire comes to $159.95, plus the $50 refundable deposit.
How does the $50 deposit work?
You pay a $50 deposit with your hire. It is returned once the pump is back with us.
Why do I need to buy a pump kit?
The kit holds the collection parts that touch your milk, such as flanges, valves and bottles. Each person needs their own for hygiene, and it is yours to keep. The pump itself is cleaned and sanitised between every hire.
How do I return the pump?
Pack it back into its case and send it back. Return shipping is included, and we send you the details with your pump.
Can I extend my hire?
Yes. Let us know before your hire ends and we will extend it at the same weekly or monthly rate, depending on availability.
Does my health fund cover breast pump hire?
Some health funds contribute towards breast pump hire. Check with your fund before you book. We can provide a receipt for your claim.
